BACKGROUND
Established by: This fund was started in 2004 by the Hendricks County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #132 to honor the memory of deceased law enforcement officers.
REQUIREMENTS/SELECTION CRITERIA
Designated for: Graduating seniors from any Hendricks County high school or adult residents of Hendricks County currently enrolled in a college or university
College Enrollment: Any accredited Indiana College or university, 2-year or 4-year degree program
Specialized Study: N/A
Special Preference: Relatives of an active or retired FOP member
Financial Need: Yes
Minimum GPA: 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Other Criteria: Have SAT or ACT scores
AWARD RECEIVED
Tuition and Fees, Amount: $500
Fund Distribution: Will be sent to recipient’s college or university in August
